Here is our list of 9 Denver local tech groups every professional should know about.

Colorado Technology Association (CTA)
The CTA is a powerhouse in the local scene.  If you only check out one of these groups, this would be it.  They host a multitude of events throughout the year that draw all the big hitters.  From wine tastings to industry briefings, to a locals-only awards ceremony, there's something for everyone here.  And let's not forget the annual C-Level event where you get an opportunity to bid for time with local executives.

Rockies Venture Club
Put your finger on the pulse of the latest and greatest tech startups at the Rockies Venture Club, where entrepreneurs and investors come together for several networking and educational events every month.

Denver Startup Week
DSW is a week long celebration of all things tech with dozens of events all over the city.  Thousands of people, everyone from founders to developers, gather to collaborate, innovate and just have some fun.  This year it will take place from September 28th to October 2nd so mark your calendars now.

Boulder Startup Week
The 6th annual Boulder Startup Week just happened this month, so if you missed it you've got a whole year to look forward to the next one.  Same as Denver's, events are spread all over town.  There are panels, parties, job fairs and hack-a-thons.  Take your pick.

Denver IT Executives Focus Group
DITEX is specifically for executive level tech professionals looking for their next opportunity.  Members cooperate rather than compete to help everyone find their perfect fit.  While it's not for everyone, this is a great place to make connections.

Agile Denver Meetup
At over 1,000 members strong, this is the place to be for discussions of the Agile Methodology and rub elbows with your peers.  They host a monthly meeting as well as several other opportunities like a book club and guest presentations, so the next event is always right around the corner.

Boulder & Denver Software Club
This group welcomes all types of software developers: SaaS, web, and traditional models.  They offer networking and educational events covering all aspects of the software business.

Downtown Denver Partnership
Generally speaking, this is just excellent networking.  There are a wide variety of events throughout the year, and the tech community is always well represented.

Sales Association of Colorado
So this is obviously just for the sales people out there.  The Colorado chapter is a great group of people, focusing on professional development and networking.  Be sure to check them out.

I hope you found this list to be valuable, and that there's at least one on here that you didn't know about.  Check them all out if you can.  Networking is a great way to accelerate your success in any industry, but especially so here in Colorado's booming tech space.  If you know of any others that should be on the list, please reply to this email and let me know.
